The recovery drinks on the market were either sugar-loaded, neon-coloured cans with mystery ingredients… or they looked like they belonged on a top shelf at a supplement store, all ego and no transparency.
So we built the drink we wanted but couldn’t find.
From BOOCHD to JIM
HOW WE STARTED
(Yes, we rebranded. Long story short: kombucha aint it.)
What started as a small batch side hustle turned into a full-blown movement. We started with humble roots, brewing out of the basement in Aimee's gym, testing formulas from home and hand-packing cans until the early mornings.
We wanted to prove that a recovery drink could be both functional and natural—packed with science-backed ingredients and still taste like something you'd actually choose to drink. One that felt inclusive. Friendly. Normal. Not just for elite athletes, but for everyone within our community.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We’re here to bridge the gap between elite fitness and everyday wellness.
We believe recovery should be part of everyone’s routine - not just those chasing podiums. That what you put in is what you get out. And that people deserve to know what’s in their drink without needing a science degree to decode it.
So we stripped it back:

- 5,000mg of recovery supplements (BCAAs + L-glutamine)
- 0g sugar
- 0 caffeine
- And all-natural ingredients, made right here in Australia

Today, Jim is found in gyms, fridges, and hands all over the country (and soon, beyond). We’re growing fast, partnering with the right people, and working hard to stay true to the values we started with: transparency, quality, and community.
We’ve got big dreams - like making Jim the #1 name in functional recovery across Australia. But we’re doing it our way: with no shortcuts, no sugar-coating (literally), and a whole lot of heart.
